Museum curator & design

‘Time for Bed’ is an immersive installation at The Story Museum, Oxford and was inspired by Helen’s book ‘The Baby who wouldn’t go to bed’. The exhibiton was designed and co-curated by Helen Cooper and Kim Pickin and features a mural painted by Helen, a giant story telling bed and nooks and crannies for lullabies and nursery rhymes. The exhibition was built by Liz Cooke, Alli Baker, Thomas McCaren Shipman, Helen Wilson, Helen Cooper, Ted Dewan, Pandora Dewan and The Story Museum team.

In 2017 Helen also designed and co-curated an exhibition at The Story Museum called ‘Wild about Colour’ featuring the work of Brian Wildsmith and other contemporary illustrators.
